For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, allocation draw entrant, Discord community member, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you use Discord verification or enter an allocation draw, please also read the “Discord Verification and Allocation Draws” section below, as it explains the additional information we collect and use for those features.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site, update the "Last updated" date, and take any other steps required by applicable law.

To provide the Services, we collect personal information about you from a variety of sources, as set out below. The information that we collect and use varies depending on how you interact with us.
In addition to the specific uses set out below, we may use information we collect about you to communicate with you, provide or improve the Services, comply with any applicable legal obligations, enforce any applicable terms of service, and protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.
What Personal Information We Collect
The types of personal information we obtain about you depend on how you interact with our Site and use our Services. When we use the term "personal information", we are referring to information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can be associated with you.
The following sections describe the categories and specific types of personal information we collect.
Information We Collect Directly from You
Information that you directly submit to us through our Services may include:
- Contact details including your name, address, phone number, and email address.
- Order information including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment confirmation, email address, and phone number.
- Account information including your username, password, security questions, and other information used for account security purposes.
- Customer support information including the information you choose to include in communications with us, for example, when sending a message through the Services.
- Information you provide when entering an allocation draw, promotion, or limited purchase opportunity.
Some features of the Services may require you to directly provide us with certain information about yourself. You may choose not to provide this information, but doing so may prevent you from using or accessing these features.
Information We Collect about Your Usage
We may automatically collect certain information about your interaction with the Services ("Usage Data"). To do this, we may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies ("Cookies").
Usage Data may include information about how you access and use our Site and your account, including device information, browser information, information about your network connection, your IP address, and other information regarding your interaction with the Services.

We may obtain information about you from third parties, including vendors and service providers who may collect information on our behalf, such as:

Any information we obtain from third parties will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Also see the section below, "Third Party Websites and Links".
Discord Verification and Allocation Draws
We may offer allocation draws, raffles, purchase opportunities, or similar limited-availability product features through our Site. These features may require you to log in to your Shopify customer account and verify your Discord account.
When you use Discord verification or enter an allocation draw, we may collect and process the following information:
- Your Shopify customer ID.
- Your name and email address connected to your Shopify customer account.
- Your Discord user ID.
- Your Discord username or display name.
- Confirmation that you are a member of the PokePals Discord server.
- Information about whether your Discord account has the minimum required server role or level for entry.
- Your entry date and time.
- Your public ticket or entry code.
- Your entry status, such as entered, winner, non-winner, removed, or voided.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser information, and user agent, where needed for security, audit, and fraud-prevention purposes.
We use this information to:
- Verify that you are eligible to enter an allocation draw.
- Limit entries to one per eligible person or Discord account.
- Prevent duplicate, fraudulent, or abusive entries.
- Operate the draw and select winners.
- Maintain an audit trail showing how entries and winners were selected.
- Contact winners or manage follow-up purchase opportunities.
- Protect the fairness and integrity of allocation draws.
Our lawful basis for processing this information is our legitimate interests in operating fair and secure allocation draws, preventing fraud and abuse, and maintaining transparent records of draw outcomes. Where we ask you to connect your Discord account, we may also rely on your consent for the initial Discord connection. You can choose not to verify your Discord account, but you may not be able to enter Discord-restricted allocation draws if you do not do so.
We do not collect your Discord password. Discord authentication is handled by Discord through its own OAuth login process. Discord may process your information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Some draw information may be made available in a public or semi-public audit record after a draw is completed. Public audit information will normally be limited to non-sensitive information such as public ticket codes, draw position, winner or non-winner status, seed hash, revealed seed, and draw verification data. We do not intend to publish your email address, full name, Shopify customer ID, IP address, or Discord ID in public audit records.
We may retain allocation draw records, including entries, ticket codes, draw results, and audit records, for as long as reasonably necessary to evidence the fairness of the draw, deal with disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect our business against fraud or abuse.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Providing Products and Services
We use your personal information to provide you with the Services in order to perform our contract with you, including to process your payments, fulfil your orders, send notifications to you related to your account, purchases, returns, exchanges or other transactions, create and manage your account, arrange shipping, facilitate returns and exchanges, and provide other features and functionality related to your account.
We may also enhance your shopping experience by enabling Shopify to match your account with other Shopify services that you may choose to use. In this case, Shopify will process your information as set forth in its Privacy Policy and Consumer Privacy Policy.
Allocation Draws and Discord Eligibility
We use your personal information and Discord verification information to operate allocation draws and limited purchase opportunities, check eligibility, prevent duplicate entries, select winners, maintain audit records, and protect the fairness of the process.
The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interests in running fair and secure allocation draws and preventing fraud or abuse. Where you choose to connect your Discord account, we may also rely on your consent for the initial connection.
Marketing and Advertising
We may use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as to send marketing, advertising, and promotional communications by email, text message, or postal mail, and to show you advertisements for products or services.
This may include using your personal information to better tailor the Services and advertising on our Site and other websites.
If you are a UK or EEA resident, the legal basis for these data processing activities may be your consent or our legitimate interest in marketing our products and services, depending on the type of communication and applicable law.
Security and Fraud Prevention
We use your personal information to detect, investigate, or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activity.
If you choose to use the Services and register an account, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. We recommend that you do not share your username, password, or other access details with anyone else. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
The legal basis for these data processing activities is our legitimate interest in keeping our website, allocation draws, and community features secure for customers and users.
Communicating with You and Service Improvement
We use your personal information to provide customer support and improve our Services. This is in our legitimate interests in order to be responsive to you, provide effective services, and maintain our business relationship with you.

Additionally, blocking Cookies may not completely prevent how we share information with third parties such as advertising partners.
