Out of 797 players in the Masters Division, American player Andrew Hedrick took the title with Dragapult ex, finishing with a 13-2-0 record. In the final he beat Diego Cassiraga, the 2017 World Champion. Dragapult ex's spread damage proved too strong once again.

Seniors Division: Jake Ng with Alakazam Dudunsparce

Australia's Jake Ng won the Seniors Division (376 players) with a 12-1-2 record, playing an Alakazam / Dudunsparce deck. It was one of the more unusual winning lists of the weekend.

Juniors Division: Yuta Araki with Dragapult Dusknoir

Yuta Araki won the Juniors Division (389 players) with an 11-1-2 record, playing Dragapult / Dusknoir. That makes it two world titles for Dragapult in one weekend.

Tournament Format

Worlds 2026 used the 2026–27 Standard format, which allows cards with regulation mark H or later. Players went through Swiss rounds on Days 1 and 2, then top players moved to a single-elimination bracket, with the finals on Day 3. Every match was best-of-three.

What Worlds 2026 Means for the Meta

With Dragapult winning two of the three TCG divisions, expect it to be one of the most played decks at UK League Challenges and Regionals this season. Cards like Dragapult ex and Dusknoir often go up in price after a Worlds win, so if you want to build the deck, now is a good time to pick up the singles.
