A Permanent Pokémon Store Is Coming to London by 2029

The Pokémon Company announced on Wednesday 21 October that it will open a permanent Pokémon store in London. It's due to open by 2029 and will be the brand's first permanent shop outside Asia.

Pokémon says the store will sell exclusive merchandise and offer in-store experiences for fans of all ages. It's also the first of several permanent stores planned outside Asia, though no other cities have been named. There's no address, size or exact opening date yet, and Pokémon says more details will follow.

Until now, UK fans have had pop-ups instead. Engadget points to the one at the Natural History Museum earlier this year, and Metro mentions past shops at ExCeL London during the World Championships and at Westfield in Shepherd's Bush.

The announcement doesn't say whether the London store will sell trading cards or host TCG events. We'll update this post when Pokémon shares the location and more details.

In the meantime, you can find sealed Pokémon products and singles at PokePals, sent from our base in Norwich.
